Dominguez Firm attorney Olivier Taillieu recognized by Top Verdict
The Dominguez Firm is pleased to announce that Chief Trial Attorney Olivier Taillieu has been recognized in the 2019 edition of Top Verdict for achieving three verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million dollars.
The three noteworthy case results were:
$11.8 million – This record-breaking verdict for Riverside County made Top Verdict’s Top 20 list at #16. It was also featured in several publications due to its significance. The client was riding in his car with his family when they were rear-ended by a semi-truck.
$2.4 million – At #47 on Top Verdict’s Top 100 list is this verdict on behalf of a client who was hit by a distracted driver while she was crossing the street.
$1.02 million – Rounding out the list of notable settlements and verdicts for Mr. Taillieu at #71 was this $1 million-plus settlement obtained for a pedestrian who was struck by a driver making a left turn while he was in a crosswalk.
In two of the three cases, Mr. Taillieu convinced the respective juries to do the right thing by his clients. The third case was settled in his client’s favor without having to go to trial. He is no stranger to life-changing verdicts, having prevailed in several high profile cases in previous years. One of the standouts was a $29 million dollar jury verdict for a client who was struck in a crosswalk. The one common thread in all of these cases is that they involved traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).
