Attorney Jason Doucette Named 2025 GSM Alumni Civil Trial Warrior of the Year

The Dominguez Firm is proud to share that Partner and Chief Trial Attorney Jason Doucette has been named the 2025 Alumni Civil Trial Warrior of the Year by the Gerry Spence Method (GSM). This nationally recognized program helps trial attorneys connect with juries through honest, human storytelling.

The award recognizes what anyone who’s worked alongside Jason already knows: he doesn’t back down when his clients need him most.

This past year, Jason took on two exceptionally difficult jury trials. Despite receiving woefully inadequate settlement offers for the injuries his clients had sustained, he stayed the course and took both cases to trial.

What sets Jason apart isn’t just his willingness to go the distance. It’s how he tries cases. Drawing on the principles of the GSM, he focuses on the full human story behind each injury. That means showing juries not just what happened, but who his clients were before their accidents. It’s about the lives that were turned upside down, and what the road ahead looks like for them and their families.

These are real people who were contributing to their communities and those they loved, before everything changed.

Juries respond to that kind of honesty. Both trials returned seven-figure verdicts that reflected the true impact of what his clients had been through, delivering the meaningful justice they deserved.

Jason received the award at a GSM Working Group in Southern California, where he and fellow program members continue to refine their craft. It’s that ongoing commitment to growth, not just winning cases but becoming a better advocate, that makes this recognition so fitting for him.

Accident victims facing well-funded defense teams deserve someone in their corner who won’t be intimidated and settle for less than they’re entitled to. That’s exactly the kind of attorney Jason Doucette is.
