The Dominguez Firm Participates in the Hoover Street Elementary Toy Drive
The Dominguez Firm Partners with Southwestern Law School’s Latino Law Students Association for the Los Angeles Hoover Street Elementary School 2018 Toy Drive
At the Dominguez Firm, bringing people together goes beyond the holiday season. Thanks to the philanthropic heritage of the firm’s CEO, Juan J. Dominguez, donations to charitable organizations go out year-round on behalf of Mr. Dominguez and the firm’s employees. The attorneys, in particular, feel inspired by the founder’s decades-long legacy of success and recognition; they are no strangers to giving. They, too, create organic community partnerships to spread the word about Mr. Dominguez’s spirit of generosity.
Matias Castro is an employment trial attorney at The Dominguez Firm. His wife, Mariapaola Castro, is a first-generation law student at Southwestern Law School, and serves as a leadership member of the school’s Latino Law Students Association. When she told Matias about the Hoover Street Elementary School 2018 Toy Drive, the young attorney didn’t hesitate to share the initiative with Mr. Dominguez himself; as expected, Mr. Dominguez offered his personal contribution and made it a firmwide affair.
“Toys are not just a pastime for children. Toys inspire creativity and bring joy. Anything that puts a smile on a child’s face is worth doing. At our firm, we care about bridging needs and a better future. It’s all about helping others. Collecting toys for the children of our community is the least we can do this holiday season. We’re happy to be part of this great initiative,” said Mr. Dominguez.
The Dominguez Firm is known for providing top legal representation to accident victims in Southern California, and for supporting the diverse communities of the Greater Los Angeles area. Mr. Dominguez puts a special emphasis on children’s wellbeing and education. He’s considered a beacon of hope, in and out of the country, for creating sustainable lifelines of support for children, young adults and families in need. His kindness speaks for itself and the community appreciates him and The Dominguez Firm.
Attorney Matias Castro stated, “I’m thrilled to be the unofficial ambassador of this kind gesture. Mariapaola has witnessed Mr. Dominguez’s community efforts, since I’ve been at the firm. She has expressed her sincere gratitude, on behalf of Southwestern Law School’s Latino Law Students Association, to everyone involved. The toys will be delivered on December 14, at Hoover Street Elementary School, and I’m sure the children will be more than happy.”
