Driven by Purpose: The Dominguez Firm’s Spring 2026 Collegiate Scholar is Gabriel Traina
The Dominguez Firm is proud to announce Gabriel Traina as the Spring 2026 Collegiate Scholarship recipient. Gabriel is a public relations major at Illinois State University. His academic focus, leadership, and service to others set him apart during the selection process.
Like many students during the pandemic, Gabriel faced disruptions in his education. Rather than step away from his goals, he used that time to become more engaged in his community. That experience shaped his long-term dedication to volunteerism and leadership.
Gabriel’s discipline in the classroom is matched by meaningful involvement outside of it. Through his work with A Giving Heart Foundation, he helped raise money for children with congenital heart disease. His efforts reflect compassion, initiative, and a clear desire to make a positive impact.
In addition to his major, Gabriel is pursuing a minor in Spanish. His objective is to strengthen communication with Spanish-speaking communities to improve access to resources for everyone.
Collegiate Scholar Gabriel shared his thoughts on being selected. “I’m incredibly grateful to The Dominguez Firm for this scholarship and their belief in my potential to make a difference in the world and my community.
