The Dominguez Firm’s Spring 2026 Legal Scholar Rafaella Di Cesaro Focuses on Justice
The Dominguez Firm has selected Rafaella Di Cesaro as its Spring 2026 Legal Scholarship recipient. Rafaella will be attending Case Western Reserve University School of Law in the fall and plans to pursue a career as an immigration attorney. Her academic excellence, personal resilience, and humanitarian efforts distinguished her during the selection process.
Rafaella’s interest in the law was shaped early in life. Her father’s difficult journey through the U.S. immigration system gave her firsthand insight into the challenges many families face when navigating complex legal processes. That experience inspired her goal to help others find stability and opportunity.
Despite outside pressures, Rafaella excelled academically at John Carroll University where she majored in Political Science while minoring in Data Science. Her discipline reflects both focus and determination, qualities that will serve her well in law school and beyond.
Rafaella currently works at the Cleveland Clinic’s Visa and Immigration Services Department. In this role, she advises international employees as they navigate immigration requirements and procedures. Her work allows her to assist individuals from around the world while gaining practical experience within her chosen legal field.
Upon learning she had been chosen as this semester’s Legal Scholar, Rafaella spoke of the impact. “This scholarship strengthens my ability to pursue a legal career dedicated to service and justice. Thank you so much for making this possible!”
